It is very important to breathe in the clean and fresh air. If you think that the air, we breathe in at home is free from dirt and germs, you need to think twice. It is rather sad that the air inside the house is much more dangerous when compared to the air outside your place. Only to make use of the comforting sense given by the different technologies, one blocks numerous bacteria, viruses, and other microbes. Even the virus exhaled from the body retains its place in the air. It has no other place to go, and hence it only exchanges its place from one human body to the other through the air. There are different types of purification systems available, which tells us when a home needs an air purification system.
Types of Home Air Purification System
Media Filters
It is the most commonly used air purification system among all. It simply forces the air through the use of filters and is generally made up of cotton, paper, and other fibers. However, it is the simplest one but is not considered to be highly effective.
Electronic Filters
This particular type of purification system is even known as the ionizers. They make use of the charged electrical surface to charge the ions. These ions then attract all the floating particles, which get stuck to it and then are brought down. It is considered effective to collect all the floating dust, dander, mold, mildew, and dirt particles.
Humidification
It makes use of the humidity to kill the entire virus and several bacteria. Microbes do not carry the potential to stand in high humidity air.
UV Filtration
UV is the abbreviated form of Ultraviolet. It is also called as the UVGI system (ระบบ uvgi, which is the term in Thai) which denotes the ultraviolet germicidal irradiation. It works effectively to destroy the microbes. It removes mold, dust, dander, mildew, bacteria, virus, and other particles. It is considered to be the most effective air purification system.
As per the present scenario, the air purification system at home is not considered as a luxurious item. It has become a necessity. Almost everyone has one purification system installed at their place, especially the ones suffering from allergies. Rather, it acts as an assurance that the air is safe and free from all the allergens.
